Over 1,400 gifts are donated each Christmas and the Angel Tree Ministry organizes them for presentation and delivery to various agencies and groups. Included in these groups are neglected children, disabled children, elderly patients, and the poor.
Due to the success of our online tags last year the sharing tree will again have most tags available online and a select few tags will be available in the narthex of the church.
Tags will be available at both campuses. Take the one(s) you want and register in the book or visit signupgenius.com to access the available online tags
Gifts can be dropped off at Saints John & Paul in the Upper CDC or at Good Samaritan the week of November 26—December 3. Please drop off at the location where you picked up your tag. We will be delivering the gifts on December 4.
Make sure the tag is clearly added to your present. Please print out the confirmation record of the "tag" that you select and attach to your gift. If you are unable to print the confirmation, please be sure to include the Organization Name and number as well as any agency codes or gift card messages that have been noted in the sign-up. We want to make sure that the gifts get to the correct places!
If you are interested in volunteering to deliver the gifts on Sunday, December 5, please contact Kara Zumpella at [email protected].
If you would like to “adopt” a family this holiday season, please reach out to Janet Roberto at [email protected]
A portion of the Angel Tree goes towards Prison Ministry. You can deliver to the children of prisoners two gifts and the message of Christmas hope. These tags are limited and require time. For more info Tim End at [email protected].
