Baptism is the first Sacrament of Christian Initiation, bringing the baptized individual into the family of God by washing away Original Sin. Baptisms are usually celebrated on Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons. Parents are asked to attend a Baptismal Prep Class before scheduling the Baptism of their child.

Classes are offered for families who have never attended one or for whom it has been four years since attending a class. They are offered every other month on a Sunday immediately following the 9:00 AM Mass at Saints John & Paul Church.
