Catholic Schoolhouse Pittsburgh (CSP)—Steeped in family unity and our rich Catholic faith, our homeschool enrichment meetings will consist of a gathering, classroom activities, a hands-on science activity, a hands-on art activity, and a closing. The activities will incorporate correlating topics in History, Music, Catholic Faith, Presentations, Art, Math, Science, Latin, Language Arts, and Geography. The upper level classes will have enrichment opportunities in History, Catholic Culture and Virtue, Composition, Latin, Geography, Speech, Literature Discussions, Hands-on Science, and Hands-on Art. CSP meets at Holy Child Church, Corpus Christi Parish, in Bridgeville (212 Station St. Bridgeville 15017) on Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and includes several families from our parish. Saint Ambrose Academy (SAA)—Aims to create a unique support space for Catholic homeschooling families in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA and foster a spirit of community among participating families. SAA meets twice weekly for classes implemented by qualified instructors, in order to educate children in a small classroom setting in partnership with their parents at home. Days 1 and 3 of the syllabus are taught in person on Mondays and Wednesdays at SAA, while parents teach days 2, 4, and 5 at home with general guidance provided by the teacher each week We offer a traditional Montessori Primay program for 3 to 6 year olds, as well as a Catholic, classical curriculum for Kindergarten through 8th grade with plans to expand through the high school level. Saint Ambrose Academy follows Mother of Divine Grace School's syllabi in almost all subject areas for grades K through 8. Mother of Divine Grace School offers a solidly Catholic, classical approach to learning. Starting in the fall of 2021, we will be located at the old school building of The Church of the Assumption in Bellevue (45 N Sprague Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202).
