If you are enduring the acute pain and profound sense of loss associated with separation or divorce, you need not go through this alone! You will find support, comfort, and healing by joining the Separated and Divorced Support Group that is sponsored by Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish.
The Separated and Divorced Support Group is a DivorceCare group and, during its 13-week program cycle, we will explore all aspects of divorce and will help you begin the process of healing. The DivorceCare program is based on solid Christian teachings and Biblical principles. It incorporates the knowledge and experience of experts in this area. Most importantly, participants are brought together through the love of Christ to support one another as peers through these difficult times.
The Separated and Divorced Support Group is grateful for the opportunity to demonstrate that the Church in general does not shun or reject individuals simply because of the failure of their marriages, and in fact, wants to let these folks know that they are cherished and valued members of the Church family, the Body of Christ.
The group meets on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:45 PM.
If you would like to find out more about the DivorceCare program, visit divorcecare.org. Group members are charged a one-time fee of $20, which covers the cost of the workbook that each person receives.
